Labor Day

The Library will be closed Monday, September 5th in observance of Labor Day. Have a safe holiday weekend!

Bookmobile

The Bookmobile will not be running the week of August 22-26, 2016. The routes include: Old Rain road Lane; Allensville; Trenton; and Pennyrile Village. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Story Time

Story Time will begin September 2, 2016 at 10 A.M. It will continue each Friday at 10 A.M. throughout the 2016-2017 school year. Cancelled dates for Story Time: September 23,2016; October 7,2016; October 21,2016; November 25,2016; and December 30, 2016. Dates are subject to change!

Summer Reading Ceremony

The celebration finale for summer reading is Friday, July 29th. This pertains to children who continued reading after summer reading ended. It will begin at 10 o’clock at the library.

Battle of the Books Reminder!

LogoBattle of the Books for middle school age children continues tonight. Bring your children from 5-6 p.m. to test their knowledge on their selected book! Tonight will be the last night.

Teen Book Club

The final night for the high school book club will be this Monday night- July 11th.

Independence Day Closing

268429-Happy-Fourth-Of-JulyThe Library will be closed July 4th in observance of Independence Day. The bookmobile will not run because of the closure. We hope everyone has a safe, fun, and exciting holiday!

Summer Reading Finale

The last event for summer reading will take place at the library. The day will include bouncers and lunch. The event will begin at 10 and continue throughout the day.

Summer Reading Notice

Summer Reading will be held at the Elkton Park this Friday- June 24th. Parents can bring their child straight to the park instead of the library. This day will consist of a marathon the children will participate in, along with a healthy snack/craft, and a couple of books being read to the children.
